Standard features matter more than brochure upgrades
When comparing campers, it is easy to get distracted by the starting price. The more useful question is what you actually get before the options list starts.
A premium teardrop camper should not need a long list of paid upgrades before it is ready for touring. The basics should already be there: a comfortable bed, a proper kitchen, water, refrigeration, storage, power and reliable construction.
That is the thinking behind the JAG Teardrop Camper. It is designed to come fully optioned so owners can pick it up and use it with confidence.
A proper bed, not a camping compromise
Sleep matters. If the bed is ordinary, the trip becomes ordinary fast.
The JAG cabin includes a true queen memory foam mattress, insulated construction, skylight, ventilation, bug screens and blinds. It is compact from the outside, but the cabin is designed to feel comfortable once you climb in.

A kitchen built for real meals
A premium teardrop camper should let you cook properly. A tiny shelf and a loose stove are not enough if you want to travel often.
The JAG rear kitchen includes a large 1600 x 600 mm benchtop, slide-out cooking setup, running water sink, pantry and spice storage, dry storage and a 60L upright Dometic fridge/freezer.
That gives you a practical alfresco kitchen without dragging the weight and bulk of a full-size caravan behind the car.
Power that suits modern touring
Modern camping involves phones, lights, refrigeration, fans, cameras, laptops and sometimes medical devices such as a CPAP machine.
That means the electrical system cannot be an afterthought.
JAG includes lithium battery storage, solar charging, car charging and shore power charging. There are USB, 240V and 12V outlets, plus a dedicated 12V CPAP outlet.

Smart controls should be included
Modern cars have touchscreens and apps. A premium camper should not feel like it belongs to another decade.
The JAG Teardrop Camper uses the Garmin EmpirBus Smart RV System, giving owners touchscreen and compatible smartphone app control over key camper functions. Lighting, battery, water and optional gas monitoring are easier to understand and manage.
That kind of control is especially useful off-grid, where knowing your water and battery levels can change the plan for the day.
Construction and warranty
Features are only useful if the camper is built properly underneath them.
JAG uses composite panel construction, a hot-dip galvanised RHS steel chassis, checkerplate underbody protection and Cruisemaster CRS2 independent suspension. It is built in Brisbane for Australian conditions and backed by a 5-year structural warranty.
That is the standard a premium teardrop camper should meet: comfortable, practical, smart and durable from day one.
