Buyer Protection
at JAG Camper

Buying a caravan is a big decision. For many Australians, it is one of the largest lifestyle purchases they will ever make. We also understand that trust in the caravan industry has been shaken. In recent years, too many buyers have seen caravan businesses close their doors, leaving customers out of pocket and unsure where to turn. Losing a deposit on a dream camper is devastating, and it has made many people understandably cautious.

At JAG Camper, we believe buyers deserve better. That is why we have structured our business, production process, and payment terms to protect our customers from the very beginning.

A Debt Free Business

JAG Camper carries no business debt. We are independent of commercial finance and do not rely on loans or creditors to operate. This is rare in the caravan and camping industry, and it gives our customers an important layer of protection.

Before you place your order, we have already paid for and own the core components that go into your build. Your money is not being used to cover finance repayments, service old debts, or fund someone else’s camper. We build to order, and every camper is made for the customer who ordered it.

A Payment Structure Designed to Protect You

We do not ask customers to pay most of their money upfront on a promise. Instead, our payment structure is tied to real stages of production, so you can see meaningful progress before making major payments.

To secure your place in our production queue, we ask for a 10% refundable production slot holding fee. This secures your build position while still giving you flexibility before your camper enters production. The fee is refundable up until production of your camper begins.

Your first major payment of 45% is only due once your camper reaches structural completion. At this stage, the chassis, electronics, walls, roof, and cabinetry are complete. No personal customisation has occurred yet. We send you photos of the camper and invite you to inspect it in person, so you can see the progress for yourself before making this payment.

This protects you because you are not paying a major amount before there is a real camper in production. It also protects us because, if a customer chooses not to proceed at this point, the camper has not yet been customised and can still be completed for the next customer in our production queue.

The final 45% payment is due in the week of pickup, once your camper has been completed. Before this payment is made, we send you photos of your finished camper so you can see the completed build. By the time your final payment is due, your camper is no longer an idea, a promise, or a place in a queue. It is built, complete, and ready for handover.

The Advantage of Australian Manufacturing

JAG Camper designs and manufactures our campers in-house in Brisbane, and that matters long after the day you pick up your camper.

Every JAG Camper is backed by a 5-year structural warranty, giving you confidence when you travel. If something needs attention, you are dealing directly with the people who built your camper, not a reseller trying to chase answers from an overseas supplier.

Because we manufacture our components in-house, we understand how every part of the camper is made, fitted, and repaired. If a replacement part is needed, we can supply it. If you are travelling interstate or far from Brisbane, we can work directly with a caravan repairer
local to you and advise them on the best way to complete the repair.

That is one of the major advantages of buying from an Australian manufacturer. With many imported campers, the business selling the product may not have built it, may not control the parts used in it, and may not have the in-house manufacturing knowledge required to properly support it. This can make warranty issues slower, more complicated, and harder to resolve.

At JAG Camper, we are not just selling a camper. We are backing the product we design, manufacture, and understand from the ground up.

Built With Transparency

Because we control the build process ourselves, we can provide clear updates, accurate progress photos, and genuine visibility throughout production. You are not left guessing where your money has gone or whether your camper is actually being built.

We know the market has changed. Buyers are asking harder questions, and they should. Who owns the parts? How much debt does the business carry? When do I have to pay? What happens if something goes wrong? Can I see real progress before handing over more money?

At JAG Camper, we welcome those questions. Our buyer protection process exists because we want our customers to feel confident, informed, and secure from the moment they reserve a production slot through to the day they collect their camper.

Buying a camper should feel exciting, not uncertain. With JAG Camper, you can order with confidence knowing your build is backed by a debt-free business, a staged payment structure, Australian in-house manufacturing, a 5-year structural warranty, and a transparent production process designed to protect you before, during, and after your build.
