REAL JAG CAMPER ADVENTURERS
Tested in the Aussie Outback
Looking for honest teardrop camper reviews from real Australian owners? Our JAG Camper reviews share first-hand feedback from customers who have taken their campers across Australia, from highway touring and weekend escapes to rougher regional roads and off-grid campsites. Each review gives you a real-world look at how a JAG Camper performs once it leaves our Brisbane workshop and starts travelling in the conditions it was built for.
EXCELLENT Based on 11 reviews Posted on Google Garry BTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We recently picked up our JAG Teardrop Camper, which we’ve named Outback Explorer, and couldn’t be happier. After checking out a lot of teardrop campers, the JAG stood out immediately. Yes, it’s more expensive, but the difference in build quality, design and attention to detail is honestly chalk and cheese compared to the others. Every time we researched alternatives, we kept coming back to the conclusion that the JAG was worth the extra money in the long run. Jack and Frank were fantastic throughout the whole process. They kept us informed, never pressured us, and were completely honest and upfront about every aspect of the purchase and the capabilities of the van. Their product knowledge and experience really shows. We’re excited to take Outback Explorer around Australia, especially through the Outback. A huge thank you to Jack and Frank for delivering the perfect van — we genuinely appreciate it. Also a shout‑out to Planet Wrap for the incredible custom wrap. Their team was professional, helpful and did an amazing job. We absolutely love it.Posted on Google Gregg PTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I have had the Jag Camper since 27th March 2026, with our first outging over Easter weekend at Gregors Creek, we then had a quick weekend at Linville, then Inbil Show grounds for one night. We are currently undertaking a longer trip (see photo), the van has been extremely comfortable, stable and easy to tow, set up and live with. Warm, quiet, sufficient storage space for clothing, plenty of sleeping room, extra storage under the bed and at the head end of it. It's been good insulation from cold, heat and noise. Would love 2, 4kg gas bottles instead of one and recommend to take the larger battery option (200 ah). Just for peace of mind. when doing extended off grid stays, a 3 way fridge would also be an advantage. I must stress that we had no issues with our current set up. A fridge handle on the far right would make it easier to open. Just nit picking, to try not to sound overly optimistic. Another huge positive, is the support offered by the manufacturers Frank and Jack. Nothing quite like after sales support than a father and son team that are committed to their customers and their products. The small issues we had, were delt with quickly and efficiently. I can not recommend Jag Campers highly enough.Posted on Google Flynn MTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The photo updates during the build were probably my favourite part before we even got the camper. It was exciting seeing it come together bit by bit. Once we picked it up, it was even better than expected. Really happy with the finish and love that it’s built here in Brisbane.Posted on Google JTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We picked up our JAG earlier this year and have already had it out more than we thought we would. It’s just easy. Hook it up Friday afternoon and go. The bed is extremely comfortable, the kitchen setup works well, and it always gets people asking about it at campgrounds.Posted on Google ConorTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Love our little JAG. Easy to tow, quick to set up, and the kitchen out the back is brilliant. Very happy with it.Posted on Google Louis LTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We’ve had our JAG for just over 2 years now and honestly it hasn’t missed a beat. We’ve done beach trips, inland trips, a few long weekends away and it’s been easy every time. Tows really well behind our car and still feels solid. Frank and Jack were great to deal with too, even after we picked it up.Posted on Google Louis TTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Hi! I’m from SA and picked up my JAG in Brisbane. Long drive home but it towed beautifully the whole way. Since then I’ve taken it on a few decent trips and it’s been rock solid. Jack was easy to communicate with during the build and kept sending photos so we always knew where things were up to. Really happy I went with JAG.Posted on Google Christina ATrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had our beautiful camper delivered to our home in Victoria just before an Easter camping trip to Beechworth. The camper is perfect - cute, solid, warm, comfortable and has everything we need. It is a big upgrade from tenting! It feels luxurious inside, and the sky view adds space and light. And stars. We also bought the Air Pavilion which with practice goes up easily, and it extends the living space. Jack was amazing to deal with, kept us informed throughout the process, and the video linked handover was great. So good to have a quality Australian-made camper and we are looking forward to many more trips. Also it fits in the garage!Posted on Google Mark's cTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Such a stunning design and comfort. We are a semi-retired couple from Sydney, Gail and Garry Day. We absolutely love our Jag Camper and the service provided by Jack and Frank. We felt listened to during the build about our specific needs. They were more than happy to work with us in providing add ons like the caravan mover and a modification to the A frame to carry our Kayak Lifter. After sales service is second to none. The camper itself is a high-quality build. Jack and Frank are invested in making sure that the customer is completely satisfied and take pride in their work which to be honest is unique to the market. They are constantly making innovative, positive changes to their design process. If you are looking for your forever camper and want a company that believes in their product and are happy to go that extra mile, then give Jack and Frank a call.

We didn’t even know they existed until we were passed by one on a trip from Hervey Bay to Gold Coast. We googled, got the address, and called into the Morningside factory on our way home. Then we knew for sure that we wanted one. The whole process from ordering to owning was exciting and working wth Frank and Jack was professional, honest and lots of fun. We are enjoying our camping trips and the pleasure and ease of owning the Jag exceeds our expectations. Frank and Jack are always available to answer any “after sales“ questions, and sometimes these are silly questions! We thoroughly researched many teardrops before we chose Jag and concluded that it is the best-built and most complete little camper available. We are more than happy with our decision..
