Over the past years, we’ve received countless requests for a camper that’s light enough for anyone to tow and off-road capable, yet still packed with the same luxuries you’ve come to expect from a JAG Camper. The challenge? Keep it around 500 kg tare weight and just 50 kg on the tow ball.
To bring this idea to life, we partnered with an international company to introduce what became known as the JAG Pod – a sleek, futuristic pod-style camper. While the design was stunning and the features impressive, it didn’t quite hit the weight target. At 720 kg tare and 120 kg on the ball, it’s simply too heavy for smaller vehicles like the Suzuki Jimny.
So, we’ve taken a bold new direction. The next evolution of the JAG Pod will be designed and manufactured right here in Australia, using advanced materials and innovative engineering. Our mission is clear: create an ultralight, off-road-ready camper, with a tare weight of 500kg and ball weight of 50kg. This camper will be so light and capable, that even small cars like the Suzuki Jimny will be able to tow it with ease.
